When the Monaro was released it was commended for it’s eye-catching pillarless coupe roof line and its wrap-over rear window, the forward reaching front and deep grille looked to be devouring the road ahead. Holden’s long experience with Australian conditions meant the design improvements didn’t stop with exterior looks. New levels of structural strength and safety, rough road stability and grip and a totally new rear suspension.
